Cora Runnestrand was born on February 25, 1920 in Kratka township of Pennington county.

Daughter of Henry and Clara (Tronnes) Runnestrand.

She was baptized and confirmed at Telemarken Lutheran Church. Cora attended school and grew up in Kratka township.

She was united in marriage to Alfred Nabben at the Mavie parsonage on 2 December 1939.

The couple made their home in rural Thief River Falls and moved into Thief River Falls in 1967.

In 1985 they moved to the Skylite Apartments.

Alfred died in 1987.

In November of 1998 Cora moved to the CNC unit of Northwest Medical Center.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and a former member of the Bethlehem Ladies Aid. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and embroidery.

Cora Nabben died 18 May 1999 at the CNC unit of Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls at the age of 79.

Funeral services were held on 21 May 21 at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.

Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery in Agder township of Marshall county.
