Funeral services for Evelyn Bryan Price were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Winnfield with Dr. Calvin Phelps officiating. Interment follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mrs. Price, age 82 of Winnfield died at 6:50 a.m. Sunday December 21, 1997 at Winn Parish Medical Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Sanctuary Choir and the W.M. U. Mrs. Price was co-owner of Southern Funeral Homes, Inc., Old South Life Insurance Co. and Knights Armor Men's Wear. She was a past President of Pilot Club and Palestine Chapter No. 55 Order of The Eastern Star where she was a past Matron and a Past District Deputy Matron.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry L. and Edith Price and Jerry M. and Lisa Price, all of Winnfield; one brother Rommie W. Bryan Jr. of Dallas, Tx., one sister Lucille Boyd of Downsville, five grandchildren, Patrick, Bryan, Michael, Laura and Leigh Anne, two step grandchildren, Anna and Will Dearmon, all of Winnfield, and four great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Lamar Tarver, Bob L. Smith, John Higginbotham, Dr. Jerry Williams, Dr. Randy Cole, Cravon Herring, Tommy Bankston and Tommy Straughan
