Netta Ruth Egelston, 84, of Richmond, died Wed, Nov 24, 2010 at the home of her daughter in Richmond. She was born in Denniston, KY, in Menifee County, on July 30, 1926 to the late Dorsie and Louetta Brown Lykins Little. Ms. Netta was a homemaker and a member of the Sonlight Fellowship Church of God in Nicholasville.
Mrs.Egelston was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Egelston Jr. Survivors include her children, Guinn M. Leachman, Stephen T. Leachman, Marietta M. Weller (Jack), Jeffrey A. Egelston, Phillip D. Egelston; her grandchildren, Jinny L. Hale (Shawn), Amie C. Parke (Phillip), Stephen T. Leachman Jr. (Theo), Courtney Sample Craft, Jeff Sample; great grandchildren, Gavin, Logan, Hallie, Cale, Zeke & Zane; one brother, Burl Lykins; one sister, Berdina Lykins and a special friend, Carolyn A. Keene.
The memorial service for Ms. Netta will be at Oldham Roberts Powell Funeral Home, 1110 Barnes Mill Road, Richmond KY. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be until service.
