Mrs. Sutton was born in Jackson County, AL, on June 17, 1943, daughter of the late Louis Elbert Wilson and Ruby Louise Harrison Wilson. She was associated with Hardee's Inc. for twenty-five years and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by her precious daughter, Tina Sutton Rogers; a son Bruce Austin; and a special friend, Pearl Carter.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband of 42 years, James "Jim" Sutton of Rome; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mark and Renae Sutton of Cedartown, GA, and Tony Austin of Scottsboro, AL; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Tina and Ryan McCrickard of Rome, and Gina and Jeremy Weaver of Ellijay, GA; four grandsons, Hobie and Benji Sutton of Cedartown, and Nathan and Preston Austin of Scottsboro; a great-grandson, Andrew Weaver; a sister, Rosie Young of Scottsboro, AL; and two brothers, Louis Wilson of Woodville, AL, and Willard Wilson of Flat Rock, AL; three special friends, Pat and Gordon Busby of Rome, and Claude Carter of Rome.
The family will receive friends this (Monday) morning from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home. At other hours the family will receive in their respective homes.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
