James "Jimmy" Power passed away at home, April 2, 2005 at the age of 57, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Yuma and resided here his entire life. He was a retired farmer and welder.
Jimmy is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Tiffany (CJ) Aragon, of Belen, New Mexico; son, David Power, of Roll; mother, Louise Ramsey, of Yuma; sister, Sharon (Doug) Banks, of Yuma.
He was preceded in death by his father, W.S. "Bill" Power and brother, Jack O. Power, both of Yuma.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 7, 2005 at 2 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary, private cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Yuma.
