Quenton "Bob" Spencer was the son of the late Kirtley and Tressie Spencer of Sumner.

A U.S. Army veteran, Quenton served during World War II in the European African Theater. He was honorably discharged after four years of service and earned the Purple Heart.

Spence was retired from Cyclops Steel in Mansfield.

Quenton was preceded in death his parents; four brothers, Arthur, Guy, Earl, and Jerry Spencer; three sisters, Eunice (Gilland) Midkiff, Violet Parker, and Jessie (Spencer) Meadows.

Graveside services were held in Bellville Cemetery. The Bellville Snyder Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
