Agnes Bruso was born at Smith's Creek Dec. 10, 1866, died at St. Clair, Feb. 29, 1896. The deceased was a daughter of Jos. H. and Susan Bruso and the third of five children, three of whom are still living. She was married to Stewart E. Padfield, June 18th, 1890; they went directly after marriage to Naubinway, Mich., where Mr. Padfield was engaged in the drug business, living there until January, 1895, when they returned to St. Clair, Mr. Padfield taking a position with Dr. G. J. Ward. Mrs. Padfield had been ailing and in poor health since the return to St. Clair. She had two children a girl and a boy; the boy died a year ago being a little over five moths old; she leaves a daughter five years of age. Beloved by all her removal is a deeply felt affliction not only by relatives but by a multitude of acquaintances.
