Chico Enterprise, Monday evening, January 30, 1939, pg 3, col 6: "Funeral Held for Mrs. Switzer. Services for Mrs. Colista Switzer who passed away January 27 at Fresno were held from the H.C. Bicknell funeral home this afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Errol B. Sloan officiating. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Fidila V. Johnson of Arkansas and Mrs. Stanford of Missouri. Interment was made in the family plot in the Chico Cemetery."
