who died in Baltimore on the 29th of June 1835 in the 54th year of his age while on his way to see his venerable father, then ill in Philadelphia. He left seven motherless children to mourn his untimely death. While in him were united all of the which rendered him eminent in the discharge of ever private duty. By this stroke of death has fallen a ripe scholar the devoted patriot, the liberal philanthropist the humble servant of God.
