Calvin C. Blair, 82, of Las Vegas, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2006. He was born Aug. 2, 1923, in Wilbur, Wash. Calvin served in U.S. Army transportation during World War II. He drove trucks in Spokane for 35 years and worked at UNLV for 13 years. He was a resident of Spokane until 1985, and has been a resident in Las Vegas from 1985 to present. Calvin is survived by his wife, Joyce Blair of Las Vegas; children, Darlene Sorenson, Daniel Blair, Scott Ostberg, Eric Ostberg and Keri Campbell.; sisters, Elma VanKleeck, Orba Johnson and Lela Zuend; 13 grandchildren; five great-grand-children; and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Family requests memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army. Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Eastern
