Stricken with a heart attack, Mrs. Mary Brill died at 11:40 o'clock this morning just a few hours after she became ill. Her passing occurred in her home, 204 Eleventh street.
Final rites are to be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Wagner funeral home, with burial following in Emery Green cemetery east of the city. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 o'clock Thursday until the hour of the service.
The daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Held) Wachter, the decendent was born in a log cabin near Lacon, Marshall county, March 10, 1864. She had spent the greater part of her life in this community, her marriage to Otto Brill taking place here December 28, 1908. They resided on a farm near Kernan until Mr. Brill's retirement in 1918 when they moved to Streator.
Mrs. Brill is survived by her husband; a brother, George Wachter of Pontiac; a niece, Mrs. John Diederich of Streator; and a nephew, Lester Wachter of this city.
