Obituary
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2007 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro for Therese Angelle, age 74, the former Therese Bernard Angelle, who passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 at 12:13 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Interment was in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery in Carencro.

Musical selections will be provided by Ron Moreau, accompanied by Phyllis Simar on the organ. The songs will be Here I Am Lord, How Great Thou Art, Amazing Grace, On Eagle's Wings and Be Not Afraid.

Ms. Angelle was a native and lifelong resident of Carencro. She retired from the Lafayette Parish School Board as a Cafeteria Manager, having worked at Carencro Middle for 25 years. She was a parishioner of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro.

Survivors include one son, Wayne Angelle and his wife, Pamela, of Maryville, TN; two grandchildren, Chad Angelle of Washington, D.C., and Melissa A. Lee and her husband, Adam, of Lafayette; one great granddaughter, Addison Rose Lee; and one sister, Inez Abbadie of Carencro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antoine "Tan" Angelle; her parents, Dalton Bernard and the former Emily Lavergne, both natives of Carencro; and two brothers, Clay Bernard and Earl Bernard.

Pallbearers will be Chad Angelle, Donald Abbadie, Mike Stemmans, Dean Domingue, Richard Villard and Adam Lee.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
