MARION - Mrs. Fannie Brooks Baker, 65, wife of J. R. Baker, died early this morning at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Survivors include her husband, J. R. Baker; one daughter, Mrs. Mary B. Stackhouse of the home; and 1 grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home, south of Marion, at 3 p.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Harold E. Walton, assisted by the Rev. Iverson Graham. Interment will be in the family cemetery near the home.
