Mrs. Gwyn

Naxera - Mrs. Countess Sterling Gwyn, 76, of Naxera, died Sunday in Walter Reed Memorial Hospital.

A Gloucester County native, she was a member of Severn Presbyterian Church and its Women of the Church, and for many years served as a Sunday school teacher.

Survivors include her husband, Harold F. Gwyn Sr.; a daughter, Mrs. Horace L. Haywood of (Bavon); a son, Harold F. Gwyn of Hampton; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen F. Selden of Clementon, N.J. and Mrs. Rufus Hudgins of Port Haywood; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Severn Presbyterian Church by the Rev. W. E. Hunnicutt and the Rev. Leonard D. Riley.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Andrews-Faulkner Funeral Home, Gloucester, and requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Severn Presbyterian Church, the Cemetery of Perpetual Care, or the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad.
