Eloise Deloris Roberson Brown, 90, died Monday, November 1, 2010. Mrs. Brown was born Feb. 11, 1920 in Appling County to that late Roy Carter Roberson and the late Maggie Lou Sellers Roberson. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church. Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Brown.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Nell Lamb of Baxley and two brothers, Ray Roberson of Pooler and John J. Roberson of Savannah.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Williamson and Bill Stone officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Meredith Lamb, Delbert Lamb, Jarrald Sellers, Holt Sellers, Denzil Sellers and Daron Doyle.

Honorary pallbearers were Adult Sunday-School Class of Zion Baptist Church.

Musical selections were rendered by Floyd Hunter and David Williams.

Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
