Former Roseland resident, Aileen M. Bonifas, 87, died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska. Aileen was born October 3, 1923 near Heartwell, Nebraska to Harry & Helena (Miller) Klein.

Aileen graduated from Roseland High School. On October 6, 1942 she married Peter S. Bonifas at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland. Peter preceded her in death on August 28, 2003. Aileen was a wonderful mother and grandmother and a member of the Assumption Catholic Church and Altar Society.

Aileen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter S. Bonifas; son, John James Bonifas; and two brothers, Everett Klein & Billy Klein.
