ROSEVILLE: Janice Ellen Bowers, 56, of Zanesville, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010 at the home of her daughter, Crystal Daniels.
Janice was born September 15, 1954 in Zanesville to the late James Andrew and Dolly Mae Grimes Harney.
She was a graduate of Philo High School and was employed by Sunfield, Inc.
Janice is survived by her son, Lucas Chappelear of Zanesville; daughters, Teresa (Danny Doyle) Chappelear of Zanesville, Crystal (J.D.) Daniels of Zanesville, Betsy (Jose Hernandez) Chappelear of Columbus and Julie Bowers of Bradenton, Fl.; brothers and sisters, James (Judy) Harney, Jr. of Roseville, Lola (Larry) Krouskoupf of Zanesville, Ronald Eugene (Liz) Harney of N. Carolina, Cristine Barnes of Oklahoma, Millie Dennis of Crooksville, Linda (Charles) Grimes of Akron, Jerry (Vickie) Harney of Zanesville and John (Donika) Harney of Zanesville; 13 grandchildren, Jessica, Trenton, Jacey, Jacob, Jalen, Tyler, Joseph, Kya, Miranda, Blaize, Maiya, Steven, and Jeremy; and a great-grandson, Carter.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Chappelear.
A Memorial Service will be held Wedneday November 17, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the ROSEVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 33 N. Main St., Roseville, Oh. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
