Mason Anthony Adams, 16, St. Joseph, died Monday, November 15, 2010, at a local hospital.
Mason was born April 18, 1994, in St. Joseph to John D. Adams and Bridgett Renay Blasi.
Mason was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph and attended Lafayette High School, where he was a junior. He was an honor student in the biomedical program and he played baseball for Lafayette. He also played competitive baseball many years with the St. Joseph Outlaws, he was #24 and he was known as "ICE."

He was a responsible, respectful young man. He had a big heart and loved his mother, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents, Arnold and Elizabeth Blasi; maternal great-grandmother, Patsy Nash; and his uncle, Michael Adams.

Survivors: his mother, Bridgett Blasi of the home; father, John D. Adams of St. Joseph; step sisters, Danielle and Katlyn Adams, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; maternal grandparents: Sandra Moles, St. Joseph; and Joe Blasi, Atchison, Kan.; paternal grandparents, Pamela and Bob Knorr, and J.J. Adams, Maysville, Mo.; great-grandfather, Edward J. Nash, St. Joseph; uncle, Brandon and wife, Erin Moles, St. Louis, Mo.; aunt, Katie Moles; and great-aunt, Nancy Nash, St. Joseph; numerous cousins.
