Dr. Arthur Garfield Snavely, formerly engaged in the practice of dentistry in the Post office block, died at his home on the west side Sunday, July 3, 1910 of consumption. Arthur was born to Anna May Birchfield and Isaac Newton Snavely October 25, 1880 in Tuscarawas, Ohio.

Funeral services were held at the Congregational church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. Richard Brown, conducting the service, and interment being in the Mountain View Cemetery. Deceased was 30 years of age and a former resident of Massillon, Ohio. He was married to Esta Mae Thomas in 1905, and in 1907 he was admitted to the practice of dentistry and came to Livingston, opening an office in the Auditorium block. Later he purchased the business of Dr. McLaren in the Post office block.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Esta; his children, Dale Snavely and Thelma Snavely, his parents and several siblings. He was preceded in death by twin infant sons.
