Mrs. Roxie C. Newell, 80, of Route 5, Anniston, died Saturday afternoon at her residence after a long illness.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Miller-Robinson Funeral Home.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John Kelly of West Virginia and Mrs. Maxie Pike of Anniston, and three sons, Curtis R. Newell of Anniston, Billy Claude Newell of Anniston, and Coleman Newell of New York.
She was a resident of the county most of her life and a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Clay County.
