Services for William Edgar Bailey, age 86, are today in the Lizton Christian Church at 2 pm with the Rev. Arloe Snodgrass officiating. Burial will be in the K. of P. Cemetery in Lizton. Calling will be after 2 pm Wednesday in the Porter Funeral Home in North Salem and the body will lie in state for one hour before services in the church. He died Monday in the Golden Manor Nursing Home in Brownsburg. He had been in failing health for six weeks. Mr. Bailey was born Feb. 12, 1891 in Lizton, the son of Peter and Clara (Hall) Bailey. He was married to Vida G. Ragsdale, Feb. 29, 1912. He attended school in Union Township and was a retired farmer. Surviving is a sister, Martha Pfeiffer of Brownsburg; nieces, Rosemary Rothenberger of Lizton and Margaret Temlin of Brownsburg. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
