Casket burial. Was buried in Oak Mound Cemetery on 3 Apr 1945.


Baptized in Pontoppidan Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. with her brother Robert on December 31, 1897. Olga was confirmed in the Oak Mound Congregational Church and was church organist in the 1910s. She was also a member and pianist of the Oak Mound Singing Society. Married Emil in 1917 in Fargo. Children - Ethel, Anna, Stewart. Associational quote: "This is Mrs. Emil Turing."

Mrs. E. Turing Dies In Hospital

Funeral Service Here For Sabin Resident


Mrs. E. O. Turing, Sabin, died in a local hospital Thursday following a lingering illness.


Born in Casselton, N. D., on May 12, 1895, she and her family moved to Kragnes when she was a child. Her father, Alfred Olson, was foreman at the Dalrymple farm in Casselton prior to operating an elevator at Kragnes.


On December 13, 1917, she married E. O. Turing in Moorhead and they lived in Fargo until 1918 when they moved to Kragnes where Mr. Turing became manager of the Alfred Olson elevator.


In 1924 he was employed by the Peavey elevator company and he and Mrs. Turing lived in various towns in North Dakota and Minnesota, including nine years in Halstad. They moved to Sabin in February of 1943.


Surviving besides her husband are three children, Ethel Louise, 107 Sixth street south, Anna Mariam, R.N., at home and Stewart Alfred, at home; five brothers, Alvin Olson, Benjamin Olson, Robert Olson, and Eben Olson, all of rural Moorhead, and Edward L. Olson, Thirteenth street and third avenue north.


Mrs. Turing was a member of Oak Mound church, member and treasurer of the Sabin Ladies Aid, AOUW, and Sabin Homemakers.


Funeral services will be held in the First Congregational church Tuesday at 2:00 p. m. with Reverend N. W. Klooze officiating.


Burial will be in Oak Mound cemetery and the body will lie in state at O. J. Hanson funeral home, Fargo, until the time of the funeral.

Pallbearers at the last rites to be held Thursday at 2:00 p. m. in the First Congregational church for Mrs. E. O. Turing, Sabin, who died in a local hospital recently, have been announced. They are: Milton Gee, Oscar Andree, Andrew Larson, Irvin Olness, Howard Higgins, and John Nelson. Merle Nelson will be organist.


Rev. N. W. Klooze will officiate and the body is at the O. J. Hanson funeral home, Fargo.
