Mrs. Sophie Mueller, nee Busse, 81, formerly of Mount Prospect, died Sunday in the Lutheran Home and Service for the Aged, Arlington Heights. She was born Feb 10, 1894, in Elk Grove Township.
Visitation is today from 2 to 9 p.m. in Lauterburg and Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Hwy., Arlington Heights.
The body will lie in state Wednesday in St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mount Prospect, from noon until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Officiating will be the Rev. E. A. Zeile. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Mount Prospect.
She was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. J. E. A. Mueller; three brothers, William, Albert and Fred Busse; and a sister, Mathilda Ehard. Surviving are two sons, Jack (Marjorie) and George (Eleanor) Mueller, both of Mount Prospect; a daughter, Paula (the late Bud) Mosiman of Mount Prospect; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Martha Froemling and Helen Biermann, both of Mount Prospect.
