Funeral services for Judith Ann "Judy" Felty of Elsberry, MO, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Raymond Hager, pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry, will officiate with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Rice, Kendall Rice, David Rice, Adam Mackey, Joe Mackey and Christopher Cooper; and honorary pallbearer, Brian Raney.

Mrs. Felty, 69, died early Sunday morning, June 13, 2010 at the home of her granddaughter, Samantha Mackey, in Troy. Born February 1, 1941 in Evansville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Walter Ben and Robena Collier Robbins. She was united in marriage in Belleville, IL to Herbert Anthony "Tony" Felty. This union was blessed with two daughters: Christine and Denise. She was a hair stylist and operated Beautyland in Elsberry for many years, retiring in the early 1990s. While her health allowed, she enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels for several years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Robena Robbins; two brothers: Jerry Robbins and Joe Ben Robbins; an infant grandson, Shawn Raney; one daughter, Christine Rice, who died August 6, 2009; and her beloved husband, Tony Felty, who died August 10, 2002.

Survivors include one daughter, Denise Wahl of Edwardsville, IL; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Joanne Moyle and her husband, Arthur, of Denver, CO; several in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
