72, husband of Deloris Evans Goldey, died Wed, Nov 3, 2010 at his residence. Born in Bath Co., KY, he was a son of the late Athie and Aileen Goldey. He was retired from IBM after 32 years and was in the National Guard. He was a deacon and treasurer at East End Church of Christ. Survivors other than his wife are a daughter, Jeanine (Rob) Hench; a son, Evan (Kay) Goldey; a brother, Alvin (Janet) Goldey; four grandchildren, Laura and Robyn Hench and Nick and Ben Goldey; an aunt, Gladys Fugate; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Gregory. Graveside service will be 11am Sat at Machpelah Cemetery in Mt. Sterling. Visitation will be 5-9pm Fri at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Drive, Lexington, KY 40504.
