Married Henry M. Lipp on June 9, 1915. Children of the union include Wesley Wayne, Vera Fern, Archie Vernon, Irma Marie, Velma Irene, Henry Merle, Lela May, and Leland Ray (Jim).

Moved from Carleton, NE to Franklin County, NE in 1901 where she lived on a farm about four miles south of the town of Franklin, NE with her parents and siblings until she married.

Henry and Merrill farmed south of Franklin on the Nebraska-Kansas state line, later moving to a farm east of Franklin. They moved into town in the 1940s. Henry sold farm implements and automobiles in Franklin and in Red Cloud, NE.
