TREMONTON, UTAH-Victoria Jackson Andersen, 92, died February 17, 1998, at the Bear River Valley Hospital following a short illness.

She was born December 26,1905, in Fountain Green, Utah, the daughter of George Dobbs and Annie Terkelsen Jackson. She married Leland (Joe) Anderson July 2, 1931, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died October 11, 1956.

Victoria was reared and educated in Fountain Green. She graduated from high school and attended Snow College in Ephriam, BYU and graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelors Degree In Elementary Education. She taught school for two years in Fountain Green, 23 years in Bothwell and eight years at North Park Elementary. She was a member of the Bothwell LDS as president of the YWMIA, Sunday School stake officer and visiting teacher. She worked seven years as a Temple Officiate: in the Logan LDS Temple and served an 18-month mission in the Billings, Montana Mission after her retirement.

Surviving are her two daughters, Sheril (Curtis) F. Shuman, Bothwell; Joyce (David) Burton, Providence; 13 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her three sisters and three brothers. :

Funeral services were held February 21,1998, at the Bothwell Ward Chapel with Bishop Dee M. Marble officiating. Services were under the direction of; Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 .N. 100E., Tremonton.

Interment in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery.
