---Roy O. Easley, 81, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away Sunday morning (June 19, 1994) at the Kirksville Osteopathic Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri.
---He was born December 12, 1912 in LaCrosse, Missouri, the son of James M. and Rhoda Ellen (Gunnels) Easley Sr. On January 25, 1931, in Elmer, Missouri he married Lorene Epperson who survives.
---Also surviving are two sons, Roy Leo (John) Easley of Gibbs, Missouri and Howard Olen Easley and wife Lila Rose of Kirksville, Missouri; four daughters, Lula May Bailey and husband Robert of Pella, Iowa, Rhoda Ellen Tomich of Kirksville, Missouri, Janet Jean Miley of Kirksville, Missouri and Linda Lorene Tripp and husband Ray of Kirksville, Missouri; twenty-two grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
---He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter in infancy, Janice Marie Easley; five grandchildren and all of his brothers and sisters.
---Mr. Easley was raised in Macon County, Missouri where he attended the New Berg school. He farmed in the LaCrosse and La Plata, Missouri areas for several years. He and Lorene moved to Kirksville in 1945 where he was employed by the Florsheim Shoe Factory until his retirement in 1973. He was an avid coon hunter and fisherman and was an abide C.B. radio operator with the handle of "White Cloud."
---He was a member of the Hamilton Street Baptist Church of Kirksville, Missouri.
