HANES--Annie L. Hanes of 2660 G Street, Springfield, died Dec. 20, 1984 at the age of 93. Annie L. Hanes was born Sept. 3, 1891 in Hickman Co., Tenn. to parents, Lucius and Barbara Webb Puckett.

Annie Lee Puckett was united in marriage to Robert C. Hanes on August 30, 1908, in Hickman Co., Tenn., and he preceded her in death on December 13, 1962. They moved to this community in 1943 and she had lived in the same home since that move. Mrs. Hanes was a member of the North Springfield Church of Christ. She had worked for over 25 years for the Fruit Growers Association.

Surviving are her children: son Aubrey Hanes and his wife, June, of Springfield, daughter Era Good and her husband, Glen, of Fall Creek, daughter Audrey Welch and her husband, Leo, of Junction City, son Bernard Hanes and his wife, Louise, of Centerville, Tenn., and daughter Mildred Hassell and her husband, Harold, of Littlelot, Tenn.

Also surviving are siblings: brother Paul Puckett and sister Thelma Aydelott of Centerville, Tenn., sister Bernice Slaughter and sister-in-law Sara Puckett, both of Nashville; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sons Loy, Robert, Clyde, Mitchell, and Edwin preceded her in death.
