SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Funeral Services for Benjamin "Ben" Brown, 4, of Sioux City, Iowa, will be 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 1st, at Grace United Methodist Church in Sioux City, Iowa, with Pastor Valerie Heller officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 30th, at CHRISTY SMITH FUNERAL HOMES, 1801 Morningside Ave., Sioux City, Iowa, with the family present from 4 to 8 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ben passed away Saturday, Nov. 22nd, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Benjamin Christopher Brown was born on December 2, 2003, to Melissa A. Brown in Sioux City, Iowa.
Ben enjoyed riding four wheelers, playing golf with grandpa, trains, airplanes, chasing Snickers the cat, catching lady bugs, playing in his sandbox, spending time with grandpa, boating with his cousin Kamryn, going to school and anything with Spiderman. Ben was excited about being able to attend kindergarten next year where they have the big toys.
Ben is survived by his mother, Melissa Brown; father, Drew DeKok of Sioux City, Iowa; grandparents, Mary Ann Brown and husband Gerry Gatzemeyer of Sioux City, Iowa; Steven Brown of Kelly, Iowa; Tim and wife Carla Rubel of Sioux City, Iowa; great-grandparents, Dorothy Allen of Ashtabula, Ohio; Phyllis Brown of Onawa, Iowa; Don "Doc" Rubel of Sioux City, Iowa; Patricia Gatzemeyer of Florida, Sharon Hasler of Sioux City, Iowa; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Ben was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis DeKok; great-grandparents, Wilbert Allen, Edwin Brown, Patricia Rubel, Raymond Gatzemeyer Sr. and Robert "Bobby" Hasler.
Pallbearers will be Todd Shufelt, Rob Olivia, Scott Salter, Shane Johnson, Taylor Made and Nick "Red" Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Brown, Daven DeKok and Dar DeKok.
A memorial fund has been established at Dakota State Bank, South Sioux City, Iowa.
