Professional Boxer that held Golden Gloves and three state championships. A native of WY that carried on a rich Spanish legacy dating from 1700s. Life time member of Knights of Columbus. Member of Guadalupe Society. Active Parishioner of St. Victor's Catholic Church for 38 years. Retired from ownership of a Bay Area Manufacturing Company. Bernie enjoyed family, friends and raising sheep on his country ranch. Vigil Services will be held Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the DARLING-FISCHER GARDEN CHAPEL, 471 E. Santa Clara St. San Jose. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Victor's Catholic Church 3150 Sierra Rd. San Jose, CA.
