Funeral services for William J. Adkisson, 66, of 7806 W. 59th Terrace, Mirriam, Kan., were at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Freeman Chapel in Merriam with graveside services at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Highlandville Cemetery. He died Friday, Aug. 23, at Luke's Hospital.
He was a retired paint manager for Pittsburg Plate Glass Co. Mr. Adkisson was a member of the Dwight Cowles American Legion Post in Overland Park, Kan., a Mason and a Baptist.
Mr. Adkisson was the husband of the former Myrtle Howard of Highlandville.
