Louise A. Nelson was born July 4, 1888 in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Frank and Amelia Kosloski [sic]. She received her education in Berlin and at the age of 15 years she came with her parents to Omaha.

She was united in marriage to Andrew Nelson June 1, 1909 at Fort Calhoun. The couple resided in Omaha until 1913 when they moved to a farm near Wolbach. Mr. Nelson died in October of 1956. She then moved in Wolbach and in 1965 to St. Paul, where she since had resided.

She died Saturday, June 9 at the Howard County Community Hospital at the age of 84 years, 11 months and 5 days.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Gillham of St. Paul and Mrs. Helen Haggstrom of Colorado Springs, Colo; two sons, George of Omaha and Harold of Denver, 14 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ms. Gertrude Norlen of Omaha and Mrs. Ella Smith of Fort Calhoun.

Preceding in death were her husband, one daughter, Irene Hanners, and her parents.
