Grady Paul Atha, 79, of Monroe, died on Dec. 11, 2005. He was born in Walton County on May 4, 1926 to the late Will Atha and the late Grace Townley Atha.
Surviving are: wife; Drue Willie Atha, Monroe; daughter and son-in-law; Shirley and John Wilbanks, Tennille; sons and daughters-in-law; Ronnie and Lynn Atha, Social Circle and Randy and Sandra Atha, Monroe; sister; Ruby Nell Carter, Monroe; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Chris Conner and the Rev. Mike Blount officiating. Interment followed at Hill Haven Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Jimmy Spratlin, Faron Bramblett, Tip McConnell, R. D. Conner, James Davis, Tommy Hudgins, Howell Cooper, and Robert Leach.
Meadows Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
