Nora Bernice Thompson Barnwell, 74, died early Thursday morning in the Bulloch Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was a native and life-long resident of Bulloch County and a charter member of the Statesboro Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Mincey, Brooklet and Jeanette Perkins, Statesboro; two sons, Paul Barnwell, Prattville, Ala., and Wilbert Barnwell, Statesboro.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Hodges-Turner Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Max Alderman and the Rev. Mike Eastridge officiating. Burial will be in the Brooklet City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Hodges-Turner Funeral Home.
