Son of Jeremiah and Mary Newman Osborn. Brother of Rebecca Osborn Claypool, Josiah Osborn, Jonathan (Osborn) Osburn, Mary Osborn Satterfield, John Osborn (my 4th great-grandfather) and Reuben Osborn.
In 1792 he married Anne Blythe in Buncombe Co., NC.

Jeremiah and Ann had 11 children; Nancy Anne Osborne Wood, Ruth Osborne Orr, Mary J. Osborne Cagle, Jesse Osborn, James Osborn, John Osborne, Rebecca Osborne McCall, Franklin Champion Osborn, Jane Osborne Rickman, Sharlotte Osborne Berry and Elizabeth Osborne Orr.

The vast majority of the Jeremiah Osborne Family Cemetery in Henderson County, N.C., was bulldozed for a house, and the slave section was also destroyed. (Note that in the Henderson County N.C. Cemetery book and for Henderson County government purposes it is named the Jeremiah Osborne Cemetery.)
But, the graves of Jeremiah Osborne Jr. and his wives are still there. They are visible and were not destroyed.
The drive way that leads to the house makes a circle directly in front of the house. In the middle of this circle are the graves of Jeremiah Osborne Jr. and his wives.
