Stella Jane Pomeroy, 98, of Maumelle, passed away at her daughters home, on Sat., Oct. 30, 2010. She was born in Bates, AR on Sept. 27, 1912 she was a daughter to the late Gideon and Martha (Bales) Campbell.

Stella and her husband Emmit, formerly lived for fifty years in Golden, CO, prior to coming back to AR. Her husband, Emmit J. Pomeroy preceded her in death, on November 19, 1985.

Survivors include her daughters: Delores (Myrtle) Bowman of Phoenix, AZ, Rosaline V. Lochman of Falls City, NE and Ellen Baxter of Maumelle; son Edward H. Pomeroy of Grand Junction, CO; seventeen grandchildren; forty-seven great grandchildren and twenty great great-grandchildren.

A donation to the Grand Junction Colorado Mental Health Facility would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Mon., Nov. 1, at Roller McNutt Funeral home in Conway. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm.,Tues. at Gibson Cemetery in Bates, AR with Bro. Terry Lovell officiating.
