Born Jan. 14, 1924, in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Clair and Hazel Britton Philips.
On May 10, 1946, in Winchester, Va., she married Clarence Albert, who survives at home.
She was a 1942 graduate of Philipsburg High School.
She was employed by Charles Navasky and Company in Philipsburg for several years, and later worked at Viceroy Sportswear in Osceola Mills until her retirement.
She as a member of Ashland Wesleyan Church.
She enjoyed gardening, ceramics and painting.
Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Kathy Leigey of Milton, Sandra Rougeux of rural Clearfield and Diane Senior of rural West Decatur; two sons, Alan Albert of rural West Decatur and Richard Albert of New Castle, Wyo.; three sisters, Joyce Fahr of rural Osceola Mills and Elaine Mihm and Linda Yarger, both of Saint Anna Marie Island, Fla.; a step-brother. Hugh Hoover of Karthaus; 11 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 Spruce St., Philipsburg.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Croft officiating.
Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery.
