Our father was a member of the First Marine Division in WW II. He was a very loving husband to his wife, Evelyn and a great father to Patty, Butch, Carol, Ginny, Tim and Rhonda, his 6 children. He will always be missed, loved very much and will never be forgotten.

The Weyer family. This is one of a very few pictures of the entire family together so this is a very special picture. It was taken at our mom and dad's 50th anniversary party.

Grandpa, I wanted you to see this picture because i know you would be very proud of me. This was taken shortly after I won my title~Miss Cleveland Overall Photogenic 2004. Grandma was there and I know you were looking down on me and watching and are just as proud as Grandma is!

This is our father when we was in the United States Marines. He was so proud of the uniform he wore.
He had always told us that when he passed away, he wanted to be buried in his dress blues.
Well, he had no idea what ever happened to his own uniform but when he passed away, we were able to find a man in Cleveland who had been in the USMC and he was more than willing to let us buy his uniform from him so we could fulfill our father's wish of being buried in his blues. It was not our father's own uniform but it was the next best thing.
I am not sure who the man was that gave us his uniform. A few family members know who he is but I do not.
I would like to personally thank him from the bottom of my heart for the most generous offer he gave us. God bless you kind sir!!
I am sure our father would be very happy about the uniform he got to wear even after his passing. I know it would bring a smile to his face.

This is a photo of our mom and dad taken in 1979. My sister Ginny sent this to me. I thought it was such a nice picture so I decided to put it here.
In all the photos they were in together, they always looked so happy.
And they were VERY happy until the day our father passed away.
All 6 of us children really do appreciate all the good that are parents did for us over the years.
And of course all the love they gave us too!!
