Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Church of the Nazarene for Mrs. Florence Thomas, aged 65 years, who died suddenly of a heart ailment at her home on North Frisco street last Thursday. Rev. C. F. Transue, pastor of the Church, officiated, and interment was made in Big Opening cemetery with Albritton service. Mrs. Thompson had lived all her life in the Sikeston district, and was a life long member of the Morley Baptist church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Belle Shanks and Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Sikeston, Mrs. Myrtle Dockey of Conran, and one son, Diaries Thompson of Sikeston.
