Alexander B. Bowman, age 82, of Jonesville, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 1986, in Lee County Community Hospital.
He was a retired coal miner, a lifelong resident of Lee County, member of Fleenor's Chapel Baptist Church, honorary member of Dryden Road Pentecostal Church in Dayton, OH and was ordained into the ministry in 1942.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi Bowman, Jonesville; one daughter, Mabel Wells, Dayton, OH; one son, Robert R. Bowman, Jonesville; 11 Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Province Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bennie Sutherland, Rev. Ed Woodard, and Rev. Gerald Neeley officiating. Burial was in Bowman Family Cemetery, Jonesville.
