Charles M. Baskett was a Union Soldier in Company K 6th Missouri Infantry.

He was the son of William Baskett and Mary Turpin.

He was the husband of #1-Eliza L. M. Norton (1851-1877), #2-Mary Crabtree (1862- ) and #3-Martha I. Dail (1863-1938).
