Son of James B & Julia Reese Cora. Arthur Cora married Mabel I Skaggs 03/22/1914. They had six children. He was raised on a farm until he joined US Calvery in 1910. Served in Philippines & along Mexican border. He was a bricklayer until he retired in 1956. He was a member of local 23 of Brick Masons & Plasterer's International Union. He was a resident of Cape Girardeau, MO since 1924. Arthur Cora's death was caused by the result of serious burns incurred from attempting to fill a cigerette lighter with lighter fluid. His left arm & side of his body were serously burned. Arthur Cora died in St Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. His children: Loraine Cora Kessler, AJ Cora, Helen Cora Wolsey, Evelyn Cora Hinkle, JW Cora & Charles Cora.
