Came from a large family of 13 children. Most were musical. Julia began playing piano by ear as a child and contributed to the family musical evenings during the depression in Oklahoma by playing the piano. Loved music of all kinds. She was appreciated and adored by her large extended family and well loved at her job of 33 years at the FCC air traffic controller school at Will Rogers Airport in Oklahoma City. She and husband Cecil had 3 children and 7 grandchildren. She was a formidable presence in the lives of all her family and friends and missed greatly.
