He was a lifelong resident and the son of the late Lafe and Clara Lake Stout. He was a member of Selma Post 437, American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret; four children, Raymond Otis, Muncie, and Phyllis Yvonne, Ronald Leon, and Larry Lee, all at home; a sister, Mrs. Garnet Smith, Selma; and three grandchildren at Anaheim, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at the Meeks Mortuary at 1 p.m. Thursday, with Selma Post 437, American Legion, to conduct military rites at graveside. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The Rev. Sanford W. Heald, Indianapolis, will officiate at the funeral. Callers will be received at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Wednesday
