Dave began carving marble in marble mills in Nelson in 1922. Some of the historic landmarks he worked on were:
*Cherokee County Courthouse, Canton, GA
*Lincoln Memorial, Washington, D.C.
*Alamo Tribute, Alamo, TX
*Singing Bok Towers, Lake Wells, FL
*George Washington statue, Valley Forge
