Rev. James A. Beil, 77, of Whitehall, PA, died Saturday, October 23, 2010, at Fellowship Community in Whitehall, PA. He was the husband of the late Gail L. (Zimmerman) who died in 2000, and Sandra L. (Campbell) Sharer-Beil with whom he celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary this past July 6, 2010. Born in Northampton, PA, he was the son of the late Oliver and Clara (Deppe) Beil. Rev. Beil was the founding Administrator of Fellowship Manor and Fellowship Community, Whitehall, PA since 1988, and served the Bible Fellowship Church Homes for over 24 years. He worked at the Nazareth facility for 14 years. Prior to this he was a Minister for over 20 years serving the Bible Fellowship Church congregations including Binghamton, NY, Greaterford and Harleysford, Scranton, and Nazareth, PA. Former Chairman of Bible Fellowship Church Annual Conference; Past President of the Board of Directors of Bible Fellowship Church. He received his education through three years at the Berean Bible School graduating in 1954. He then studied at Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA, earning a bachelors degree in Biology. Survivors: Surviving along with his wife Sandra are; a daughter, Susan G., wife of Lee Henderson, of Elkins Park, PA; a son, Rev. Thomas J. Beil, of Whitehall, PA; two step-daughters, Donna Sharer, of Philadelphia, PA, Beth, wife of Brian Dry, of Moon Twsp., PA; two step-sons, Gregory Sharer, and wife Kathleen, of Courtland, NY, Jeffrey Sharer, and wife, Barbara, of Wyckoff, NJ; one sister, Pauline, wife of Rev. William Cordes, of East Ridge, TN; step-mother, Margaret Beil, Northampton; 11 grandchildren. Services: Services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Rose Inn and and Beil Avenues, Nazareth, PA 18064. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010 and Wednesday 9:30 to 11 a.m. prior to services, both at the Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Schisler Funeral Home, 2119 Washington Avenue, Northampton, PA 18067. The Rev. Carl Fischer will officiate. Interment will follow at Zionsville Bible Fellowship Ch. Cemetery in Upper Milford Twsp., PA.
