Albert lived in Pulaski for the past 17 years after he moved from Suring. Albert owned and operated his own Tile Installation Business which he worked for 35 years.
Albert served his country in the United States Army, and was a member of the American Legion Post #337 in Pulaski. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Albert is survived by his mother, Dorothy Winters of Suring; a significant other, Gloria Brabant of Pulaski; three daughters, Beth Gauthier of Keshena, Joanne Gauthier of Keshena and Stephanie (Philip) Phillips of Oconomowoc; four sons, Albert (Ivy) Gauthier of Iron River MI, Todd Gauthier of Pulaski, James (Nicole) Gauthier of Pulaski, and Keith (Cindi) Gauthier of Pulaski; a brother, Tom Gauthier of New London; a sister, Janice (Dave) Johnson of Crivitz; seven grandchildren, Noah, Taylor, Jason, Aidan, Maya, Josh and Rachael. Albert is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Albert is further survived by his loyal dog, Chips.
Albert was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Gauthier; and two brothers, Pat Gauthier and James Gauthier.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2004, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring. A prayer Vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. with Deacon Bill Doran officiating. Visitation continues Wednesday, October 27, 2004, at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until funeral Service at 11 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring with Father John Gallagher officiating. Burial in the Church cemetery to follow.
