Andrew was a son of Benjamin Berrian/Berrien Brewton and Candace Ann TIPPINS, both buried in the B. B. Brewton Cemetery, Bellville, Evans Co., GA.

Andrew married Frances Eugenia Sikes, daughter of Allen Jones Sikes and his second wife, Jane Elizabeth Durrence, both buried in section H6 of this cemetery.

They had the following children all born in Tattnall Co., GA:

1. Clara V. Brewton, b. 25 Dec 1888; d. 24 Jul 1905, buried in section F1 of this cemetery.

2. Alice M. Brewton, b. 29 Sep 1889; d. 13 Aug 1987, Columbus, Muscogee Co., GA, married to Remer Theopolis Deal.

3. Ernest A. Brewton, b. 01 Jan 1890; d. 18 Apr 1961; buried in section C2 of this cemetery, beside his wife Norabell H. Brewton (MNU).

4. Annie C. K. Brewton, b. 15 Dec 1893; d. 20 Jun 1991, buried in section F1 of this cemetery as Annie Brewton Gill. Her husband is not buried here, and I don't have his first name.

5. Pharris Giles Brewton, b. 06 Oct 1895; d. 27 Apr 1970; buried in section F1 of this cemetery beside Elizabeth Mae "Bessie" Brewton, his wife (MNU).

6. Ottis Melvin Brewton, b. 12 Jun 1897; d. 12 Oct 1953, buried in section C2 of this cemetery.

7. Charles W. Brewton, b.18 Jan 1899; d. 25 Sep 1899, buried in section F1 of this cemetery.

8. Allen B. Brewton, b. 25 Nov 1900; d. 14 Aug 1970, buried in section C1 of this cemetery beside his wife Hilda Rahn Brewton.

9. Francis A. Brewton, b. 05 Jun 1903, d. 31 Aug 1985, buried in the Union United Methodist Church Cemetery, Claxton, Evans County, beside his wife, Lizzie W. (MNU) Brewton.

10. Robert J. Brewton, b. 15 May 1994; d. 09 Oct 1999, buried in section F1 of this cemetery beside Annie Brewton Gill, his sister.

11. Thomas Wilson Brewton, b. 17 Feb 1906; d. 18 Oct 1981; buried in section F1 of this cemetery.

12. Anna Mary Brewton, b. 23 Oct 1908; d. 04 May 1982, buried in section C2 of this cemetery as Anna B. Riggs, in the Ottis Melvin Brewton plot (her brother).
