Edna Anderson, age 80 of Ripon, died Thursday evening, August 6, 1998, at Ripon Memorial Hospital, Ripon.

She was born September 23, 1917, in Sturgeon Bay, WI, a daughter to Joseph and Minnie (Weist) Jacob. She received her schooling in Sturgeon Bay. On Janua 18, 1936, she married Emil Anderson, and they moved to Ripon fro Sturgeo n 1959. Edna was a housewife, and enjoyed cooking, garde , ing and her family. She was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Ripon.

Survivors include 4 children, Fay (Douglas) Cochenet of Sturgeon Bay, Gordon (Sylvia) Anderson of Ripon, Gloria (Roger) Kintopf of Pickett and Sue (David) Belter of Pickett; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Emil on April 14, 1995, 1 grandson, 2 brothers and I sister.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, 1998, from I until 3 PM at Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Ripon. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM at the church with the Reverend David M. Haberkorn officiating. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A Memorial has been established.
